Inexplicably, they recently decided two websites would be better, investing thousands into design.\u00a0Perhaps, the effort would bring double the traffic?<\/p>\n<p>To their upmost surprise and dismay, one of the two sites became so far buried in SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages), even a branded search (search using their exact business name as a keyword) couldn&#8217;t keep them from appearing in Google\u00a0until after page 8! Best place to hide a dead body is Google Page 3 and beyond&#8230; \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Anyone have an idea as to why the website wasn&#8217;t doing so well?<\/p>\n<p>My simple hunch is that Google, in its many efforts to reduce\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/moz.com\/blog\/black-hat-or-white-hat-seo-ask-better-questions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">black-hat<\/a>\u00a0SEO tactics<\/em>, has labeled\u00a0the second website as a spam, or\u00a0inappropriate copy, site.
